Frederick Rein, a partner in the New York office of Goodwin Procter LLP, is a U.S. registered patent attorney with 25 years of experience in intellectual property law.  He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York University and Boston College Law School and served as a law clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.  He has written about patents in the life sciences space, particularly in the Journal of Generic Medicines, and has also spoken on this topic at various different conferences including the Hebrew University IP symposium, the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada summer meeting and the International Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association annual conference.  Fred is a member of the Israel Practice Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and studied Hebrew at Kibbutz Kfar Ruppin in the early 1980s.
