Verena von Bomhard is a partner of Hogan Lovells International LLP and founder of Hogan Lovells' Alicante office in Spain specialising in Community trademark and design law.

She is a frequent speaker on issues relating to her expertise and has also authored, co-authored and co-edited numerous articles and books on European Trademark Law, in German and English.
These include the Concise European Trademark and Design Law (Wolters Kluwer), Sweet & Maxwell's European Litigation Handbook (Community Trademark), and the INTA Oppositions Guide, as well as various article published in the INTA Trademark Reporter.
 
Verena had chaired and co-chaired INTA committees and is currently a member of the OHIM Subcommittee of the Trademark Offices Practices Committee. She is also a member of ECTA, GRUR, and PTMG. She holds a law degree and a doctorate degree from the University of Munich and has been admitted to the bar in Germany since 1994.
