The new addition to the European court system – the Unified Patent Court – and how it will affect patent litigation in Europe

Trevor is a partner in the Intellectual Property Group based in London and is co-head of Bird & Bird's International Life Sciences Sector Group.
While Trevor’s main area of focus is patent and other intellectual property litigation and advice, he is also active in the area of life sciences administrative law.
He is president of the UK Group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI)  and Chairman of the British Copyright Council. He is on the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) List of Arbitrators. Trevor has a degree in chemistry from Southampton University. He joined Bird & Bird in 1974 and has been a partner since 1981.
