David Hashmall has extensive experience in complex commercial disputes at both the trial and appellate levels. His practice encompasses patent and other intellectual property litigation, as well as business litigations and arbitrations involving breach of contract and shareholder and partnership disputes.

Mr. Hashmall’s substantial experience in intellectual property litigation includes cases involving patent infringement, copyright infringement, unfair competition and corporate raiding of employees. He currently represents a major pharmaceutical company in ANDA litigations brought pursuant to the Hatch-Waxman Act and also in a wide variety of disputes involving licensing and joint-development agreements.

Before joining Goodwin Procter, Mr. Hashmall served as senior partner of Schneck Weltman & Hashmall LLP in New York.
Mr. Hashmall is a member of the bar of the State of New York and is also admitted to the bars of the Federal Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
