Ms. Bromberg is the chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology group. Her IP practice focuses on litigation, counseling, and dispute resolution in all aspects of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, unfair competition, trade secrets, and internet-related issues. She regularly assists clients in developing business plans, licensing models, monetization and exploitation of patents, and intellectual property portfolio strategies that meet short-term and long-term objectives. She negotiates and drafts license and technology transfer agreements for clients in a diverse range of industries and advises clients on a broad range of privacy and data protection matters, including privacy policies and procedures, global compliance, cross-border data transfers, cybersecurity, and network intrusion issues. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional with certifications covering both U.S. and European privacy law.
Ms. Bromberg was selected as a “Leading Individual” for patents in the 2014 and 2015 editions of the Chambers USA guide. She was named by Managing IP as a 2014 and 2015 “IP Star” in recognition of her work in the areas of counseling, licensing, and patent litigation and has been recognized as a leading patent practitioner by Intellectual Asset Management’s “Patent 1000.” Ms. Bromberg has been named as one of New York’s Super Lawyers for Intellectual Property each year since 2010. In 2014 and 2015 she was selected by Super Lawyers as one of the top 50 women lawyers and in 2015, as one of the top 100 lawyers in the New York metropolitan area.
