Tal Band is a member of the Executive Board and of the Management Committee.
Tal is the Chair of the Intellectual Property Practice Group, which is the largest IP practice of any major Israeli commercial law firm.
With more than 30 years of experience, Tal’s IP practice focuses on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, know how, and copyright litigation, primarily for the pharmaceutical, life science, telecommunication and consumer product sectors. Tal also provides ongoing legal advice on regulatory matters, commercial transactions and other issues of specific interest to the Life Science industry. Tal has particular expertise in complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes.
Tal is actively involved in IP both in Israel and on the international front in a myriad of ways and holds the following positions in various IP organizations and committees:
President of the Israel Chapter of AIPPI since 2004; between 2010-2014 Tal served as Chairperson of AIPPI's Membership Committee. Tal is currently also a member of AIPPI's standing Committee on Free Trade Agreements.
Chairperson of the Intellectual Property Committee of IATI, Israel's largest non-profit umbrella organization for the High-Tech and Life Science sectors.
